The best ways to control cravings:

  • Firstly don't keep a ready stock of the things you most crave that are bad for you.
  • Find healthy alternatives for the things you crave
  • See if you can hold out and not give in to the craving by doing something you enjoy
  • Remind yourself of your choice in what you intake and if you must give in do it in moderation.
  • Allow yourself the luxury of saying "I can eat anything... but I know what is good for me" and keeping that in mind if you give in once in a while it's ok.
  • Have a support system.... get friends and family to help you. Above all listen to yourself and your body and think of the goals you have set for yourself.
